1. We launched four new Assessments
Motivating Language. This assessment is based on the work of Jacqueline Mayfield & Milton Mayfield at Texas A&M University and provides a framework to quickly understand all leader-to-follower work communications.
Essential Developer Capabilities was developed by a technical thought leader and the founder of Agile Institute, Rob Myers. The Core Four Agile Developer Skills provide organizations with the capacity to create, maintain, and enhance their software products without degrading quality or alienating users.
Agile Retrospective Effectiveness Scale (ARES) is a validated assessment instrument dedicated to improving how you prepare, conduct, and get value out of your retrospectives. It was authored by Retrospective experts Esther Derby, Diana Larsen, and Niki Kohari.
Comparative Team Effectiveness is based on more than 25 years of Ilker Demirel’s experience with various teams, coaching, consulting, and building high-performing working groups. The assessment provides the teams, its leaders, and other stakeholders with the insights they need to make systemic changes and increase the effectiveness in a highly cognitive knowledge-work environment.
2. The Comparative Agility Meetup group is live!
Last year we launched our interactive Meetup series where Jorgen Hesselberg, co-founder of Comparative Agility, had the honor of kicking off this exciting initiative. Over the last several months, we’ve been fortunate to have many of our amazing authors present on key aspects of their work to a growing audience across the world. Throughout the year our audience had the opportunity to learn from authors such as Dr. Pamela Meyer, Jutta Eckstein, John Buck, Richard Kasperowski, Drs. Jacqueline and Milton Mayfield, and Jenni Jepsen.
We’re thrilled about what’s ahead and can’t wait to share more exciting topics with you in the months to come. We recently hosted Johanna Rothman and Mark Kilby and on February 22 we will host Dr. Steven Wolff who is going to introduce us to a simple method for building a team’s culture.

3. Personal Improvement — the „fitness app for the professional“ is available!
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we recently launched the Personal Improvement platform. The Comparative Agility PI platform is a resource for professionals such as CSMs, CSPOs, and Agile Coaches who are dedicated in their quest for growth. Through expertly curated, role-specific surveys, professionals receive tailored recommendations, build their personal improvement backlog and have discussions with peers in a safe and confidential manner.
4. Introducing Dark Mode
Tired of looking at the same old surveys? Need a break from the norm? We’re excited to announce that all our surveys are now available as „Dark Mode“ to help break up the monotony. 5. The CA Academy is now in session!

6. Our podcast series is going strong!
Only slightly less controversial than Joe Rogan, our Podcast series was launched with the intention of providing our authors with a platform to introduce themselves to our listeners and to discuss their work and contribution to the agile community. The response from the audience has been overwhelming and we’re excited for what’s ahead in 2022!
